FakturaPL Privacy Policy

1. What data we collect

FakturaPL accesses the following Shopify store data to generate invoices through Fakturownia (InvoiceOcean):

Order data: Order number, line items, prices, tax amounts, discounts, shipping costs, and payment method.
Customer data: Name, email address, billing address, shipping address, and company name (if provided).
Tax identification numbers: NIP, VAT ID, or other tax numbers provided by the customer through order metafields or notes.

2. How we use your data

We use the collected data exclusively to:

Generate invoices, receipts, proformas, and other fiscal documents through the Fakturownia API.
Send invoice emails to customers when configured by the store owner.
Store invoice references (invoice number, status, PDF link) in the app database for display in the Shopify admin.

3. Data storage

Invoice records are stored in the app's database with the following information: invoice number, document type, status, PDF link, and the associated Shopify order ID. Full invoice data (including customer details) is stored in your Fakturownia account, not in our database.

4. Third-party services

This app sends order and customer data to Fakturownia (InvoiceOcean) for invoice generation. Fakturownia processes this data under their own privacy policy. You are responsible for ensuring your Fakturownia account complies with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR, etc.).

5. Data retention

Invoice records in the app database are retained for as long as you use the app. Upon uninstalling the app, all stored data (settings, invoice records, webhook logs) is deleted within 30 days. Invoices already created in Fakturownia are not affected by app uninstallation.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you and your customers have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data. To exercise these rights regarding data stored in the app, please contact us. For data stored in Fakturownia, manage it directly through your Fakturownia account.

7. Customer data requests

FakturaPL processes Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks (customer data requests, customer redaction, shop redaction) as required by the Shopify App Store. When Shopify sends a customer data request or redaction webhook, we remove or anonymize the relevant data from our database.
